Polka Dot Tights
I picked up a pair of polka dot tights this fall and they have been a favorite to wear with fancier skirts and dresses. I’ve been looking for a way to wear them with casual looks and Jentine from My Edit nailed this one.  Plaid shirt. Silk scarf. Blazer. Shorts. Boots. Knee-high socks. Done. via: My Edit

The long drive from Texas to Chicago (or any road trip) is ALWAYS worth it when you have friends to visit in cities along the way. After great visits in Dallas, Little Rock, and Memphis, I’m arriving in Nashville this morning and am looking forward to a few wonderful days before making the final leg of my trip home on Saturday.

Memories from the Christmas card photo shoot...
Every year my mom would dress my sisters and I up in our (always somewhat matching) Christmas outfits to take the annual family Christmas card photo. Back in the days before digital cameras, I think she would take about two or three rolls of film, just to make sure she got one shot that was worth sending out to family and friends that year. I’m sure this was a dreaded occasion for my...

These Chilewich Dahlia Placemats are lovely. Although they are made out of pressed vinyl, their design make them look more expensive and decorative than their materials. Right now I live in an old college house with four other girls. Our current home decorations are a hodgepodge of everybody’s style: lots of colors, no theme, and anything works. I love to decorate and often think about...

Finals
I’ve never spent this much consecutive amount of time in the library. In fact my library visits this whole semester haven’t even totaled the hours I have spent here in the past few days (I do study, just at more fun places). The flourescent lights help me forget that it’s 2 am, 4 am, 6 am outside. The days are beginning to blend into one another and I find myself going to bed at...

iPhone makeover
When I got an iPhone back in September, I was tricked. The AT&T employee who helped me in the store convinced me that I needed a Ballistic case. I’m not even that clumsy, I swear, she just got me worried that I was going to drop it and break the screen, so I went with the 2-layer case similar to an Otterbox for the 3. Since September my phone has received the loving nickname of...
