I bought a ticket in March. Soon after, our travel and festival crew fell apart. Everyone had a conflict or couldn’t take off work. I tried to sell my ticket on Craigslist with no success (but secretly I was hoping it wouldn’t sell). New friends surfaced as eager festival goers with tickets and I am going to hitch up with an amazing music-loving crew once I get there. I asked for work off and got it. Last minute planning this week and now I’m leaving today…for the wonderful music festival known as Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. The car is packed and I’m eager to get on the road (I love road trips and the open highways on the way down to TN). Although I’ve missed the beginning of the fest, I’m going to make up for it by enjoying everything through the end. The lineup shows that some performances are running all the way through 3:30am, the music never sleeps! I also can’t wait to camping out all weekend long! Adventures await.
